What's new?
- The pumpkin and squash plants are stretching across pathways and blooming. Can that tiny ball be the beginning of a pumpkin?
- Tomatoes and cucumbers are beginning to form.
- Lettuce is still good, but beginning to bolt with the July heat.
- Last week, we transplanted some kohlrabi, cucumber, and watermelon.
- Japanese beetles have appeared and are enjoying cherry leaves, bean leaves and more.
- In the Three Sisters gardens, the bean vines are outstripping the corn, so we've added a few stakes.
- Our volunteer sunflowers now tower over the rest of the garden.
